Bob, Signe, Chris and families, My family and I are heartbroken. Betsy, and you were our friends for over 50 years. Our friendship started in Hanover MA, to Falmouth on the Cape, to Florida. Strolling our babies around the circle, beach days at the cabana, visits to various FL locations, were among the fun times we had together. Betsy was always very welcoming, whether we showed up unannounced at her door or called from the airport with nowhere to stay. I once showed up with blisters on my feet from a bad sunburn, Betsy took care of me like the nurse she was. Thanks for the socks, my friend. I will treasure having known you. ‘Til we meet again.

Although we only met her on a few occasions, "Signe's Mom" was a spark of joy every time we'd see her. I remember bringing our twin 3 year old girls over for a visit, and she was always so interested in them and what they were doing. She'd always make things fun. You could feel her burst of energy and you wanted to be a part of it. In those few, brief meetings, her passion for life was undeniable.

I have many happy memories of Betsy, from Hanover to Falmouth to Florida. Always smiling, her quick wit, sense of humor and adventurous spirit will always stay with me. She was our weekend Mom when we would visit Falmouth as kids and having chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast was groundbreaking for me. I’m so grateful I was able to pop in on her a few weeks ago. Sending all our love to Bob, Signe and Chris and family.

I’ve known Aunt Betsy all my life, but it wasn’t until about the last 15-20 years, that we’ve become much closer. I have always looked up to her, and not just because I’m only 5’2” (lol), seriously, she had a really interesting outlook on life and lived every moment to the fullest. I will cherish the time we spent together and do my best to keep her memory alive. I miss her already. Diane
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Betsy was beyond an incredible human being and the best grandmother I could have ever asked for. Anything that she could do to help those close to her and make them smile she was glad to do. She was loving, caring, and a genuine pleasure to have in my life, as anyone who knew her could agree with. As a grandmother she showed a great example to me and my brother on how to live life in our own way. The memories of her are a joyful reminder of the incredible life that she lead on her terms, and the vast positive impressions that she had on those around her.

Rest in the sweetest peace to a kind and independent woman! I always enjoyed seeing Betsy when she would visit the Ialuna home. She always let us kids use her pool and see the animals. I have great memories there! My thoughts and prayers are with the family ❤️

I am not sure I ever once saw Betsy without a huge smile on her face. As soon as she walked in the door you immediately couldn’t help but smile back! I will always cherish the fond memories of visiting their farm in punta gorda and her showing us all of the different animals they had. An amazing woman gone too soon, Rest In Peace!

Dear Bob, Chris, Signe and family, We are so sad for this tragic loss in your lives. Please know that Betsy and all of you have been in our thoughts and prayers. I will always remember Betsy for her beautiful smile and for her laugh. I will always remember her popping over in the morning to bring my mom her newspaper and sharing a laugh. I also will remember her hosting a St. Patrick day meal a few years ago at your home. And of course her birds :) May she rest in eternal peace and may God comfort all of you during this time. God bless, Rosanna, George and family
