He was born July 10, 1918 in Portsmouth, Ohio and has been wintering in Punta Gorda for the last ten years from there and moved here five years ago. A veteran of WW II serving in the US Navy. He was owner & operator of Ace Termite Company Inc. in Wheelersburg, Ohio before retiring to Punta Gorda. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda and American Legion Post 400 of Ohio.
Survived by his loving wife, Pauline E. Johnson of Punta Gorda; a daughter,
Phyllis (Vernon) Hardin of Louisville, KY; Two sons, Bradley (Cleotha) Johnson of South Haven, MS and Glenn E (Maryann) Johnson of Louisville, KY; a step son, Robert (Betty)Brown of Sinclair Shores, MI; 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren
