Agnes Rebecca Myers, 94, of North Charleston, South Carolina passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at her son’s residence in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Agnes was born to Nathan Barto and Sarah Gruber on January 12, 1920 in Cottageville, South Carolina. Agnes was a member of Northbridge Baptist Church in Charleston, SC for many years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Frank D. (Patricia) Myers and James D. (Sandra) Myers both of Port Charlotte; 4 grandchildren, Travis (Avelina) Myers, Denise (Mac) Golden, Denise (Jason) McAnany and Christopher (Amanda) Myers; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank George Myers.

Inurnment will be held at a later date at Riverview Memorial Park in Charleston, South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800 Nashville, TN 37214-0800 or Tidewell Hospice, Inc. 5955 Rand Blvd. Sarasota, FL 34238.
