Alex was born on February 28, 1922 in Chustianka, the Ukraine, to the late Philip and Anastasia (nee-Charczenko) Bulim. Alex lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he worked security for National Cleaning until 1987 when he and his wife Marie relocated to Port Charlotte, Florida. Alex was a member of the Ukrainian Baptist Church in North Port, Florida.
Alex is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marie Bulim of Port Charlotte; two daughters, Halina Drahn of Seattle, WA, and Kristina Frick of Naples, FL, two sons, Bruce Bulim of Philadelphia, PA, and Igor Bulim of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Christine Drahn, and Carolyn, Jacob and Seth Bulim; and one brother, Alexander Bulim of the Ukraine.
