Alma E. Hue, 73, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Tidewell Hospice , Port Charlotte.
She was born May 12, 1937 In Jamaica, West Indies to her parents James Hugh and Ivy Jenkins. She moved to Port Charlotte twenty six years ago from Central Islip, NY. She was a retired secretary for a construction company and H2u member. Alma was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Port Charlotte. A loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many, Alma will be missed, but not forgotten.
Survived by her loving husband of 52 yrs., Harry Hue of Port Charlotte; three daughters, Marcia (husband John Russell) Robinson of Waltham, MA, Katherine (Husband Paul) O’ Brien of Franklin, MA and Sheron (Husband Kevin ) Curtin of Oak Harbor, WA; a son, Phillip Hue of Houma, LA; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Hue; a brother, Pang NG of Amsterdam, Holland; ten grandchildren, Melissa, Michael, Phil Jr., Ashley, Steven, Joshua, Valerie, Gregory, Natasha and Phil III; two great grandchildren Brendan and Garrett.
Visitation will be held Monday July 5, 2010 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a wake service at 7:00 PM at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte.
