Angus Francis McDougall, 89, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Saturday, May 16, 2009 May 16, 2009 at Life Care Center of Punta Gorda, Florida.
He was born January 18, 1920 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and moved to Port
Charlotte in 1988 from there. Mr. McDougall was a retired PBX repairman for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company and veteran of World War II and the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Port Charlotte and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1296 of Bloomington, MN.
Survived by three daughters, Kathleen Keeler of Edina, MN, Diane Ward-Aikman
of Spokane Valley, WA and Therese Walls of Chicago, IL: a son, David McDougall of
Minneapolis; a sister, Frances A. Grimstad of Daly City, CA; 12 grandchildren and
4 great grandchildren.
