Ann T. Thomas, 94, of Punta Gorda, passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, August 28, 2014.
Ann was born December 14, 1919 in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan to the late Spiro and Acreve Tampas. Ann married Paul Thomas on December 1, 1946, and moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa where she worked as a Technician for Rockwell Collins. They later moved to Spring Hill, Florida, and in 1998 relocated to Punta Gorda. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Port Charlotte, and the Greek Ladies Society.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years Paul, son Constantine Paul (Mary) Thomas of Amarillo, Texas, daughter, Eve-Ann Davis of Punta Gorda, three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and brother-in-law Earl Bohlken of Marion, Iowa. In addition to her parents, Ann was also preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be held Monday September 1, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. with evening prayer service at 6 p.m. at Roberson Funeral Homes Punta Gorda Chapel. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday September 2, at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, followed by burial at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda.
