Anna Lou Barger, 88, of North Fort Myers, Florida died Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Harbour Health Center, Port Charlotte, Florida.

Anna was born October 12, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Walter and Zelma P. (Gray) Campbell. She moved to Florida in 1980 from Hamilton, Ohio. She lived a very full life, traveling with her late husband, John “Buck” Barger, playing golf and bingo, and dining with friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her dog Doozie.

She is survived by her loving family, a daughter, Nancy Barger of Port Charlotte; a son, Andrew H. Barger of North Port, FL; daughter-in-law, Barbara Barger; son-in-law, Don Buschini; and seven grandchildren. “Anna will be missed by her family and many friends.”

Private memorial services will be held by the family at a later date. Anna would have preferred donations in lieu of flowers to a local animal rescue facility.

So sorry to hear of Ann's passing. She and Buck were long time friends at River Park Place. We will miss her! You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

We saw each other and talked many mornings each week when we walked our dogs. I am missing her and Doozie each morning. She was a wonderful person.
