Antonio J. Rodriguez aka “Dreamchaser”, 61, of North Port, Florida has gone to heaven to be with our lord and savior after a 3 year battle with cancer Friday, February 21, 2014 at Tidewell Hospice, Inc. in Port Charlotte, FL.

Antonio was born December 19, 1952 in Bronx, New York and moved to Florida in 1993 from Cobleskill, New York. Antonio was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend and will forever be remembered by all who loved and knew him.

He is survived by his High School Sweetheart and loving wife of 40 years, Robin; 2 sons, Anthony Rodriguez and his wife Janeth of North Port, FL and Dr. Miguel Rodriguez and his wife Michelle of Norton Shores, MI; a daughter, Letetia Allison and her husband Charles of North Port, FL; 2 sisters, Norma Martinovic of Honolulu, HA and Judy Rodriguez of San Diego, CA; a brother, Edward Rodriguez of Paso Robles, CA; 7 grandchildren, Dominick, Ariana, Jazmin, Charlie, Mateo, Gavin and Gianna and many nieces and nephews and his best friends, Barry and Wilimina Clifford of Englewood, FL.

A family gathering will be held 10:00AM-11:00AM with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00AM, Wednesday, February 26, 2014 Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
