Patti, John, Steve and Kim,
We are so sorry for your loss, your Mom was an amazing woman.
I will never forget all the Girl Scout meetings and trips with her during my middle school years, and will always have fond memories of her camping breakfast of choice -- chocolate cake and a Coke. She will be sorely missed by all but will definitely make Heaven a livlier place!
Love to you all and your Dad,
Valerie Mitchell and family

Dear Artie, I was so very sorry to read of Arline's passing in the newspaper this evening. Arline was a wonderful fun, loving person with such a caring heart. I don't know if you will remember me, my name is Kathy Hishon. Arline's sister Pat was my best friend in Dumont High School and we had remained dear friends until her passing in l985. Arline, graduated with my sister Jean from Dumont HIgh class of l955. How ironic that Arline passed away the same week as her sister Pat and also on my husband Bruce's 44th anniversary (1967) of his passing on the 28th also. I have had so many connections with the McCormick family.. God bless them all.
Ardy, we don't like to say good-bye to those we love. You and I might wonder why God took them home. But I'm sure they don't. They understand, no more pain, no more suffering, no more struggles. They are, at this very moment, as peace in the presence of God. I'm sure her parents and Pat met Arline at the gate of Heaven, with arms opened wide to be with her again.
Again, my sympathy to you and your family. You will be in my prayers and in my heart during this difficult time. Just know that Arline is at peace and that you will see all her again..
My Love, my Prayers-God's Blessings
Kathy.

Sincere sympathy to Arlines' husband & family - I will remember her smile & friendly manner - first made her acquaintance as a customer at Troy Saving Bank/First Niagara (where I retired 5 yrs ago) and then in later years at Our Lady of Hope Church - thoughts & prayers are with you all - Carol R.
To all;
Read all the memories this morning. Still in the dark ages when it comes to the computor. Just as I have, each of you has a warm memory of Arline. A lot of gulps and some tears as each of your thoughts reminded me of our years together.
Girl Scouts, Ski trips, Lke George camping, Operation Santa charity, both homes at Lake Geoirge, 48 inches of snow, Charlotte pool side chats with the ladies, PD, Marine, New Milford, Huletts and Charlotte gatherings you each wrote about brought back a smile and some tears.
' Youse guys' brought me on a great trip this morning.
THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

Dear Arty, Patti, Steve -- You are Arline's family who I know. Though I hadn't seen her in years, she would pop into my head periodically --- and you too Arty. You guys were like 2nd parents to Bobby and me in New Milford. I so appreciate the community I was brought up in. What sticks in my head most about Arline was her humor and realism. I am so thankful for that --- as an overly sensitive child -- it helped me get over my stuff.
I am especially thankful for the connection Arline and my Mom had. I know the friendship was extremely important to my Mom --- who also has that sense of realism and sense of humor. And that is where they connected.
And it will always be. That is what I feel when I think of Arline. She probably didn't know what a strong influence she had on me. But now you all do. It doesn't make it any easier I know -- but you can summon that strength from the ethers. Love Always, Laura Thompson
