Barbara Jean Pooley, 71, of North Ft. Myers, Florida passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Cape Coral Hospital, Cape Coral, Florida.

Barbara was born to Oscar and Lillian on April 21, 1951 in Washington, DC. Barbara was a selfless woman who cared more about her family than anything else. She always put everyone else first no matter what. Her heart was made of gold and her love for family was never ending. She will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Steven Owen Pooley; her daughter, Bonnie Jean Pooley of N. Ft. Myers, FL; her 2 sons, Steven Pooley, Jr.  and William Pooley both of N. Ft. Myers, FL; 2 sisters, Carolyn Dooms of Maryland and Theresa Thomas of Delaware and 5 grandchildren, Adam, Amber and Ronnie Bernal and Raegan and Liam Pooley.

A memorial service will be held 3:00PM, Friday, November 4, 2022 at Roberson Funeral Home Punta Gorda Chapel. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.
