She was born in Bradenton July 8, 1926. She grew up in Samoset and worked for Manatee County schools in the cafeterias. While her late husband, Warren E. “Shorty” Williams was serving in the U.S. Air Force Bobbie lived in many places across the U.S. “Granny” will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Survived by two daughters, Nanette (Tom ) Middleton of Pleasanton, TX and Mary Jo (Dick) Crandall of Statesville, NC; 3 grandchildren, Nichol Crandall Lancaster, Jamie Crandall Henderson and Kyle Middleton; 7 great grandchildren, Jessica Lancaster, Nadia Lancaster, Jared Lancaster, Joshua Lancaster, Olivia Henderson, Holden Henderson, and Jack Henderson; 2 great great grandchildren, Elijah and Mia Lancaster. Preceded in death a son, Paul Williams, who died in 2000.
Private graveside services and interment will be at a later date in Pleasanton, Texas. Friends may visit online at www.robersonfh.com to sign the memory book and extend condolences to the family. Arrangements by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
