She was born August 25, 1926 in Bessemer, Alabama and moved to Port Charlotte 12 years ago from there.Bessie was an astonishing mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Eugenia (Ed) Jaques of Port Charlotte; Cecelia (Jerry) McCafferty of Key Largo, FL and Stacey (Terry) Zdunczyk of Las Vegas, NV; 2 sons, Edward (Linda) Evans, Jr. of Key Largo, FL and James Evans of Port Charlotte; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
