Bettie was born September 9, 1922 in Hastings, Michigan and moved to Florida in 1984 from Pontiac, Michigan with her late husband Robert F. Cooper who died in 2008. She was a former member of V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 5690 in Port Charlotte, Florida.
She is survived by a niece, Margaret Dunnigan of Hastings, Michigan.
