Betty was born November 24, 1921 in Jersey City, New Jersey and moved to Port Charlotte in 2009 from Rockaway, NJ. Betty was a dance teacher at Betty Clements Dance Studio in Rockaway-Denville, NJ. She loved dancing and was a passionate photographer. She loved to travel around the world and take pictures of everything she found exhilarating. She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is survived by her loving son, Michael (Joyce) DiClementi of Port Charlotte; a sister, Dorothy Flynn of Denville, NJ; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Betty and my mom, Peggy Craig, were great friends and fellow dance instructors. They would collaborate at recital time and each would share their best students for guest performances at the other's show. I am sure that they are reunited now and are probably teaching the waltz clog to a multitude of the heavenly host! Betty was an unforgetable gal and her spirit will forever live in my heart.
