Betty was born February 18, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI and moved to North Port in 2003 from Sturgeon Bay, WI. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed her roses dearly. She loved the outdoors, fishing, country music and siamese cats. Betty was known for her pickle canning which she did for many years. Betty was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Gordon; 2 daughters, Kathleen A. (Gary) Holcomb and Christine (Ralph) Crowe; a sister, Dolores Chaltry of TX; 5 brothers, Richard, Nick and Tom all from FL; Don Peters of MD and Robert Peters of CA and 5 grandchildren, Dalton, Megan, Aaron, Austin and Amanda.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Inurnment will be held at a later date by the family.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory Port Charlotte Chapel.
