Beverly D. Barrett, age 86 of Port Charlotte, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Treemont on The Park Assisted Living & Memory Care, Oakland Park, Florida, after a season of declining health.

She was born November 21, 1939, in Hanover, Jamaica, a daughter of the late Gladys Barrett and Percival Barrett. Beverly was a faithful servant of the Lord whose life reflected kindness, joy, and devotion. Though she was never married, she poured her love generously into her family, friends, and every community blessed to know her. Her heart belonged to God, and she made that known through the way she lived and the songs she carried with her wherever she went. One of Beverly’s greatest gifts was her voice. She loved to sing and used that talent to glorify the Lord, joining a church choir in every place she called home.

Beverly leaves behind two brothers, Stephen Barrett (resides in Canada) and Robin Barrett (resides in Boston), many other cherished relatives, friends from where she worshiped.

A visitation will be held 10:00AM-11:00AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00AM, Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Interment will follow to Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, Florida.
