Bonnie Kay McCurry, 65, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away on Sunday, October 30th, 2022, at her residence, with the love and comfort of her family by her side.
Bonnie was born on May 2, 1957, in Lafayette, Indiana to the late James E. and Peggy L. McCurry. While still very young, Bonnie and her family relocated to Punta Gorda, Florida, were she would grow up in a small town atmosphere, and call home for herself and her family.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Stokes; and four children, daughters Danielle (Spouse Rodney) Roberts, and Christine Nickols, and sons Anthony (Spouse Mary) Phyles and John George; two brothers, Jimmy (Spouse Debbie) McCurry and Steven (Spouse Mary) McCurry; numerous grandchildren and extended family members. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by a brother, Larry McCurry.
A graveside service and committal with burial to follow, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens cemetery in Punta Gorda.

When tomorrow starts without me and I'm not there to see if the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today while thinking of the many things we didn't get to say, I know how much you love me as much as I love you and each time that you think of me I know you'll miss me too, But when tomorrow starts without me please try to understand that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand and said my place was ready in heaven far above and that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love ❤️ I miss you so much mom and I love you forever. 💞
