Brice Joseph Jean-Pierre, 82, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away August 3, 2013 in Haiti.
He was born August 29, 1930 in Cap Hatian, Haiti and immigrated to the United States in 1962. He was an interpreter and ticket agent for the Pan American Airlines, retiring after 25 years of service. Subsequently after his retirement, he opened his International Courier business. Brice loved flowers and plants, especially roses. He loved to dance and cared deeply for disadvantaged children. Brice was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and was
a Master Mason, 33rd Degree.
\Survived by his loving family, three daughters, Angela Saylor and Anize Appel from his first wife Magdelena Jean-Pierre, and daughter, Hesma, mother, Anna Jean-Pierre, sister, Marie Rozelle Jean-Pierre, half sisters, Carol Elmorin and Juliette Charnel. six grandchildren, Deloris, Craig, Wayne, Jade, Jean-Pierre, and Arnold Jr., son -in- law Craig, second wife- Aida, and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6-8 PM, August 20, 2013 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday 1:00 PM, August 21, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2505 Augusta Ave. Port Charlotte, FL 33952. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte.
