Carol E. Thurber, 88, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Solaris Healthcare in Port Charlotte FL .
She and her late husband John, enjoyed playing Bingo & living the life in Sunny Florida.   She enjoyed playing solitaire and working on her tablet.  She loved buying scratch off tickets—many times winning more than she spent.   At one point, she and daughter Karen went to the Lottery Office to cash one in…it was a good one!
Carol is survived by her son John, Jr. & daughter Karen (Rick) Wells, both of Punta Gorda, Florida.   Son Larry (Rhonda) Thurber and daughter Diana (Dean) Ludwig of Fort Wayne.  Her sister, Shirley Daring of Ft Wayne also survives her.   She would like her best friends Chuck and Donna Triana recognized also—they brought such joy to her and John’s life.  Carol left behind 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren & 2 great greatgrandchildren.
