Catherine Ceasar, 94, of Port Charlotte, Florida Passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Tidewell Hospice Inc. in Port Charlotte, FL.

Catherine was born January 16, 1919 in Leetsdale, Pennsylvania and moved to Port Charlotte in 1997 from Kensington, Maryland. She was a magnificent woman who enjoyed life to the fullest. She will always be remembered by all who loved and knew her.

She is survived by her loving son, Raleigh (Judy) Ceasar of Port Charlotte; a sister in law, Bernice Ewanko; 2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raleigh F. Ceasar; her parents, Philip and Anna Ewanko, Step-father, Peter Schur; a brother, Philip Ewanko, Sr. and 3 sisters, Mary Higley, Ann Modrak and Helen Kopac.

Visitation will be held 12:00PM-1:00PM, Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00PM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Port Charlotte, FL.

RALEIGH CEASAR left a message on March 10, 2023:
Well mom it's an anniversary of sorts. Today is 3/10/2023 and it's been ten years and 5 days since you left us. The virus I wrote dad about that started in early 2020 is now somewhat controlled. We got shots to help us through it and probably will now start getting an annual shot just like the flu shot you used to get. Judy and I, Debra and Raleigh, and all their children are fine. We're having lasagna tomorrow and whenever we do, I always remember the day you had made it and lost a bandage which we found when eating the lasagna. I was talking to Judy last week about grandma's house at Marshall Alley, our German police dog when we lived on Maplewood and several other good memories I had when I was preschool. You must have really taught Debra a lot about cooking because she mentions you quite a bit. I'm speaking for all of us we miss you and love you. If somehow you are close to dad, hugs and kisses to both of you from me and Judy.
