Charene was the loving mother of 2 children. Charene resided in Sarasota for most of her life. Charene was born on April 1, 1959 in Gloverville, South Carolina, to Cynthia Brawn and Fred DuBois.
Charene was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Chaz) Leissner. She is survived by her mother Cynthia, her father Fred, Charene’s two children, Heather Leigh Leissner and Paul Albert Leissner, brothers Clinton and Del, and sisters Dawn, Lennita and Susan.
Although no funeral services will be held, the family will have a celebration-of-life gathering in Sarasota sometime in 2021.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Charene maybe made to Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 34238.
