I met you at the Coast Guard Station in St. Pete, fl 12/2/1998. We talked and you were so charming and smart...I noticed you had left your cell phone on a display...I tried to give it back to you...but you had left, I gave it to the employee. I remember thinking when I first saw you in the Navy pants and Navy Polo ...wow this man has a wife that know how to dress him...not knowing he was currently fighting for his life...literally...We met up what seems like several times after that. But we had only been "dating" less than 6 weeks before you went away...I still saw you 2 times a month for a while...but that changed after I got stationed in a state far away. There was never a boring time with you always something going on...even the time I side swiped you Land cruiser...you were so cool, calm and collected. It's still hard for me to believe you are gone. God bless your babies and Michelle ..I Know they miss you too!!
Dear Chuck,
You were the best finance officer I ever knew. Your laugh always made me laugh and thank God we laughed a lot. We had some good years along with Mike and myself.
My best to your family.

You will be sorely missed but I feel grateful to have known you. The love you and Michelle share is a special love that not all are able to have in this world. You will remain in our hearts forever.
My Dear Charles, if you and my beloved Mickey had to leave our world and our lives, it comforts us to know you were together. Michelle and I will forever miss you. Our lives and our hearts have been shattered. Your family and your friends now have a huge void in their hearts that can never be filled. Please take care of each other as Michelle and I will also try and get through this by helping each other. Will love you and miss you forever.
May you rest in peace knowing you were loved by many and will be missed by us all.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
so sad to hear I just met charly a few months ago, and never has someone made such an impact on me in such a short time. After a week of getting to know him he was considering me and my family apart of his. Never did he not start our conversation with a joke or just some kinda of advice about life and what was going on. This man was one of a kind and I'm deeply saddened the world is without him. Much love to the ones he left behind.
"He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother"
The road is long, with many a winding turn
That leads us to who knows where, who knows where
But I'm strong, strong enough to carry him
He ain't heavy - he's my brother
So on we go, his welfare is my concern
No burden is he to bare, we'll get there
For I know he would not encumber me
He ain't heavy - he's my brother
If I'm laden at all, I'm laden with sadness
That everyone's heart isn't filled with gladness of love for one another
It's a long long road from which there is no return
While we're on our way to there, why not share
And the load, it doesn't weigh me down at all
He ain't heavy - he's my brother
He ain't heavy - he's my brother, he's my brother, he's my brother

Chuck and I were friends since the 7th grade. We had sooo many good times together. As kids we fished, played football, we raced cars and rode motorcycles together, we jumped my dune buggy the highest and furthest it had ever been flown. The highest achievements I ever had I shared with Chuck. In 2007 we won INPEX together, the Invention and New Products Expo. With Chuck's work our company was named one of the Top 50 Emerging companies in the USA in 2008. In 2012 we received an Edison Award and flew to NYC to get it and had a wonderful time. I could go on and on about Chuck. To sum Chuck up he was the Alpha Male. He was intelligent and very funny, good looking and confident. A blast to be around and a great host. I miss him dearly.
Dear Carolyn,
My deepest smpathies go out to you and your family. I remember seeing Chuck a few times at Temple Shalom and he was always smiling and friendly.
He always greeted me as though I was a long lost friend, bending down to hug and kiss me. He will be remembered with great fondness.
Keep well. Love, Judy

Charles came into my daughter life 2 1/2 years ago & she was happy than I've seen her in many years. They were deeply in love with each other & were planning a future together. I will never forget you Charles & the love you gave not only to my daughter Michelle but to her children as well. You will be deeply missed.
Carol
Charles and I shared so many memories and good times together over the last 30+ years. We called each other brother and loved each other as such.He was a caring, unselfish, sensitive man who made friends easily with his quick wit and humor.I know he was so happy with his life with Michelle and im glad for the love that they shared for each other, cut so short by his untimely passing. He will be with me often as so many things in my daily life remind me of him.
Dear Charles & family,
Chuck, I know you are an angel & can see/hear these messages, so I am addressing you as well. Although we haven't been in touch since school, I remember you well. Fun loving kid, sounds like that never changed, thank God. I am grateful that you lived your life so magically & touched so many people's hearts. I'm sorry that your mission was so brief however, because so many loved you. I pray their pain eases gently. With your assistance & God, it will. I would have loved to have known you as an "adult," but it was not meant to be. You will live on in my memory however, old friend. Blessings always, Your old friend, Teresa Xoxo
Rest in peace and knowing that you have been loved by many.
I had the privilege of being a classmate of Charles in his venture of standup at McCurdys Comedy Club. I also had to follow his act at the graduation night of fun. What a hoot he was! Very articulate and deep, my conversations with him showed what a caring person he was. He loved life. My sincere sympathy to the family. He was, indeed, a hard act to follow.
I only met Charles recently at McCurdy's comedy club on the comedy boot camp. I took an instant liking to him and shared his love of humor. On the night of the class performance he told me that he was related to Douglas Bader the famous WWII Spitfire pilot. I told him that next year for my 60th birthday I was going to fly a Spitfire in England and he said the thought of me doing that sent a shiver down his spine. Charles is proof that life is too short so I have now signed up to fly a Spitfire next May 20th-21st and he will be in my thoughts when I fly over the White Cliffs of Dover and do a barrel roll.
May he rest in Peace.
Alan
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
I met Charles at McCurdy's comedy club, the comedy boot camp. He was a riot and his smile lit up the room. Everyone knew when Charles was around. He would poke-fun and make comments about his classmates, the kind of comments that made everyone laugh with joy. He will be missed, but he made such an impression on me, I can't help but smile when I think of him. My prayers go out to his family and friends.
You were Michelle's Prince and always will be. We will miss our dinner, plays, comedy club, football games together. We will never forget you and how happy you made Michelle...Rest in peace buddy!!!

He was a joyous blessed child, full of hugs and laughter..marvelous giggle and a natural athlete even at four.
Per the family dynamics I was notified of his passing, today ,December 22.
How very sad.
Blessings to Michelle, I am told she was very dear to all.

Charles was, as previous posts point out a very special person to all who had the pleasure of his friendship. We met in 1983 durning our Banking and F&i careers and he attended my wedding in 1988. We lost touch after that time but the memories never have or will fade of a person who made everyone feel great with his humor, wit ,and advice. So sorry to have not heard of his passing sooner so we could of attend services. My best to one of my best friends. Sincerly Bob and Julie Wright rwrig15906@aol.com
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
