Charles Pannhorst

Charles Walker Pannhorst, Sr. of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, August 27, 2008 . He was born May 21, 1927 in Jersey City, New Jersey and moved to Port Charlotte in 1990 from Long Island, New York.

He was a retired aircraft technician for Grumman Aerospace Corporation and also was volunteer E.M.T. for the Bellrose NY. Veteran of WW II serving in the US Navy. Member of American Legion Post #110 and D.M.V. both of Port Charlotte. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be missed very much.

Survived by one daughter, Patricia (Jack-husband) Gurney of Port Charlotte; four sons,Thomas(Gloria-wife) Pannhorst and Charles (Joni-wife) Pannhorst, Jr. both of Port Charlotte, John Pannhorst of Scottsdale, AZ and Michael (Rochelle-wife) Pannhorst of Phoenix; thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. a step son,Bruce Vogel of Long Island, NY.

I love you so much Grandpa. I am so blessed to have grown up living close to you and have had you as a presence my whole life. I will miss you so much, especially our phone calls...
