Dearest Kim & family, It is with great sorrow I send our sympathy today. When I opened the paper today I was in shock. I knew Chris many years and he brought lots of laughs and great stories during that time. Chris was a very special guy and loved his family dearly. Although we ended up going different ways after Turner Center no longer needed us I always had a lot of love and respect for Chris. He would do anything for anybody. He was talented and could tackle anything he made his mind up to. I am so sorry for you and the kids. My heart aches for your loss. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love to you all - Donna & Ed

I grew up down the street from Chris and my favorite memory of him is when I was on the verge of no longer believing in Santa Claus and my dad enlisted him to dress up as Santa. My dad took photos of him drinking the milk and crackers I left out for Santa. I saw the Polaroids the next morning and I said "Santa looks like Chris Casale!". My mom still has those photos and I'll try to get them to post them here. I also remember my parents always requesting to hear Chris play "Body & Soul" on our piano and he was always happy to play it for them. He had a wonderful warm smile and I am glad I was able to have him in my life.
