Christopher A. “Chris” Casale, 46, of Arcadia, devoted husband, father, and brother, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at home.
Born on October 31, 1966 in Batavia, New York, Chris moved to Florida when he was 8 years old. He graduated from Chaminade College Preparatory School in Hollywood, FL. While in the Navy, he attended the U.S. Navy Medical Corps, Great Lakes Naval Training Center. After discharge, he attended Broward Community College.
Chris held many positions within the Florida State System. He was the Maintenance/Operations Supervisor at the Desoto County Turner Center, the Parks Supervisor for Desoto County Parks and Recreation, a Preventative Maintenance Team Supervisor for the Department of Corrections, and a Vocational Instructor at the DeSoto Correctional Institution.
He is survived by his wife Kimberly Parkhurst Casale, one son, Dominic, two daughters, Regina and Morgan and a granddaughter, Lily; his devoted mother, Gail Casale, Port Charlotte, his loving brother Noel Casale, San Francisco, CA, aunts and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony J. Casale.
Visitation will be held for family and friends at Roberson Funeral Home Chapel, 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, Fl 33948 on Saturday, May 4th 9:30 am followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. at San Antonio Catholic Church, 24445 Rampart Blvd., Port Charlotte, Florida 33980.
In lieu of flowers, cash contributions may be made to the family for the Anthony J. Casale Memorial Scholarship Fund at Alexander Central School.
