Christopher Robert Heilbron, of North Port, Florida, left his loved ones entirely too soon on June 3, 2026, and would have been 49 on June 9, 1977.

Chris is survived by his beautiful daughter, Briana Gerhard Johnson and her husband, Bryan Johnson; his father, Donald Heilbron and stepmother, Joan Heilbron; his sister, Donna Morrison, and his nephews Michael (godson), Matthew, and Ryan; and his brother, Stephen Heilbron, his wife, Jenny, and his nephew, Luke. Chris will join his mother, Anne Heilbron, who passed before him. His sudden passing has left a deep and painful void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Chris lived his life with a spirit that was impossible to miss. He was adventurous and followed his dreams.  From the time he was a young man in his twenties, he dreamed of moving from his hometown and he successfully built a robust life and network filled with friends and laughter in Florida.  He was known for his kindness, generosity and sarcasm and he always put the needs and wants of those he loved before himself.

He was also known to be an extremely hard worker who built a career where he was respected not only for his skill but for the compassion and integrity he brought to his work. Outside of work, he found joy in spending time with his family and friends.  He loved baseball, cars and working on his house.  He had a soft spot for animals which was demonstrated by a house full of pets, specifically his Maggie and Charlie.

A celebration of his life was held on June 10, 2026, at Roberson’s Funeral Home. So, family and friends up north can pay their respects also, a separate celebration of life will be held at a later date in the New York area.

Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made will be felt for a lifetime. His laughter, his love, and his presence will remain with all who knew him.
