Born in Southbridge, Massachusetts to the late Exilda and Dosithee Menard, Claire, a loving and beloved wife and mother, moved from Farmingdale, New York to Port Charlotte with her husband Philip in 1980. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Philip L. Barbaccia; daughter, Annette Barbaccia; son, Phil A. (Wife-Wanda) Barbaccia; grandchildren Debbie, Dawn and Dale; and many other extended family members.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 P.M. with Wake service at 4 P.M. Monday, January 30, 2012 at Roberson Funeral Homes Port Charlotte Chapel; Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, January 31, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with burial to follow Tuesday at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Homes & Crematory Port Charlotte Chapel.
