We were sad to hear of the death of our dear friend. We shared many good times with Claire both in NH and Florida. She was a warm, cordial, friendly person and an outstanding host. We loved her and will miss her. She was a charming and gracious person.

My deepest sympathy to David and family. Claire was a lovely lady who always cared very much for family and friends. I loved visiting her here in Stonebridge/Riverwood as she always was so cheerful and shared many stories of her teaching career and she never lost her New England accent! She was Irish through and through! She knew how much I loved to hear her say “BYE BYE” with her wonderful accent and when I visited her in the ER last Tuesday evening and she said it again we both smiled. Claire is a real treasure and my memories of her will be with me forever.

So sorry, David, for your loss. I will always remember our parents drinking a gin an tonic together, on a summer’s night on Cobbett’s Pond, while we played in the water. You lost your dad way too soon in life. I am glad that you were able to have all these years with your mom. She was a true gem. Deepest sympathies, my old friend.

David, Please accept our sincere sympathy with your Moms passing. She was such a lovely woman and a huge part of our family, through the years. She was there for all our celebrations, new babies, birthdays, beach visits and so many fun filled times. I will always remember her laugh and her love and pride for you. I believe without a doubt, my Mom Mona was right there waiting for her and they will once again share another St. Pattys day celebration, dancing an Irish Jig together and being friends, once again.

David. So sorry to hear of your mother’s death. The Greenlaw’s were our favorite neighbors. I hope that she went peacefully. I hope you were able to spend time with her before she was gone. She lived a long, good life. I will always remember your mom and dad drinking gin and tonics with my parents, at the end of a summer day. In any event, my thoughts are with you. You lost your dad way too young, but you have been fortunate to have had your mom for so long. My deepest sympathies 💔

David, my condolences on the passing of your beloved mom. Early in my teaching career (1970’s) she was a mentor and role model. Later she became a very dear friend. Visiting her at Riverwood was always fun. Shopping, going out to eat, sunsets and pizza on the beach were always part of a visit. But most of all the laughter around her dining room table while we played games and cards. She will always hold a special place in my heart. Peace, dear Claire.
