Claudette was born June 12, 1953 in Jamaica, West Indies and moved to Port Charlotte 15 years ago from Brooklyn, New York. Claudette was an amazing woman who loved her lord and savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of the Prayer Pact International and she was a certified Chaplain spreading the good word everywhere she could. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew her.
She is survived by her loving children, her daughter, Ann, aka Debbie Ramos of Port Charlotte and her son, Ryan aka Rodney Young of Chicago, IL; her step-father, Richard Patton of Port Charlotte; 4 sisters, Jennifer Kennedy of Brooklyn, NY and Jennifer Surjue of Port Charlotte, Pauline and Angela Surjue both of Jamaica; 9 brothers, Paul and Anthony Patton of Port Charlotte, Richard and Christopher Patton of Brooklyn, NY, Lincoln, O’Neil, Clemente, Everette, and Jimmy Surjue all of Canada and 9 grandchildren, Andrew, Katirah, Kailon, Ayahni, Caleem, Kahmisi and Ahmaj Young, Taiquaizia Blake and Jahmari Ramos.
Visitation will be held 6:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, April 19, 2013 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 10AM, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at United Evangelical Missionary Outreach Church, 4200 Juniper St. Port Charlotte, FL 33948. Interment will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda, Florida.
