She was born May 19, 1958 in Trenton, New Jersey and moved to Port Charlotte in 1994 from Lawrenceville, New Jersey. She was a school teacher at Charlotte Harbor School for many years.

Survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey P. Leary of Port Charlotte; three sons, Donald J. White, Jr. of Port Charlotte, Jared C.(wife-Lauren) White of Acworth, GA, and Travis P. Zirkle of Grand Rapids, MI; four sisters, Leslie Sullivan of Dallas, TX Sandra Marquette of Payson, AZ, Pamela Solymosi of Hamilton, NJ, Karen Lucci of
Yardley, PA; many nieces and nephews. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and will be missed by all.

Claudia was such an amazing lady who was always putting everyone else before herself. She always had that big beautiful smile on her face anytime you saw her. I will be forever grateful to her for all the work she did with Austin. He would not be where he is today without her. She was the most compassionate person I have ever met and we will miss her tremendously. Claudia Thank-You so much for the Austin Time!!! And Jeff, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Claudia was such an amazing person who will be remembered by many as a loving person who always gave her all to assist others. Although I only knew Claudia for a short time, she has impacted me in a way I will always remember. She will be dearly missed!

Claudia was an angel on earth to all of the children she worked with and to all who had the honor of knowing her. She will be forever missed by myself and my son, whose life she greatly impacted. There's a special needs class in heaven that needed a teacher/behavior analyst and they got the very best.

I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful woman. She truely touched many peoples lives.She was a great wife, mother and friend. She will be missed by all. Jeff know that your in our prayers. We love you both. Jody & Kevin Turner

Cherish the memories and walk by example. I for one will always remember the humble and gentle way she carried herself which showed much strenght. Claudia, a wonderful woman of strength who will remain in the hearts of many. Family, be blessed and may the comfort and peace of the Lord be with you now and always.

I really loved Claudia and I was blessed to have her as a friend. Its funny you know that I thought she didn't like me when I first met her working at Charlotte Harbor but it was because she was always so busy and dedicated to the kids there. When we got to know each other, I found that out and I did admire how she was looking out for everyone else. I really enjoyed the time we spent and I will miss her smile. I knew claudia from charlotte harbor school i always thought she was a wonderful person everytime i would see her around school she would always have a smile on her face and always willing to help anyone she could she will be deeply missed by everyone she inspired with her positive attitude about life and the kids she gladly helped everyday.my sympthy goes out to the family.god bless

I was so sorry to see of the death of your loved one at such a young age. My heart and prayers go out to you during this time. I have always found encouragement and comfort thru the pages of the scriptures and would like to share a couple of verses with you: John 5:28, 29--Do not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. Those who did good things to a resurrection of life... Isaiah 33:24--:And no resident will say, 'I am sick'. The people dwelling in the land will be those pardoned for their error. May you know that God cares for bereaved ones and the loved one is in his memory.

We are saddened to hear of the untimely passing of such a sweet lady. We knew her from First Presbyterian Church in Punta Gorda. We are keeping all of you who loved her in our thoughts and prayers.

Claudia was a wonderfull person I had the opportunity to work with Claudia atBaker Headstart as substitute teacher I learned alot from her.She was awsome Teacher and a friend she was so great with the children and helped the parents out.I will miss that beautiful smile she always had.

Claudia worked tirelessly with our son Austin. She was the one person to be able to get into his world. She has always been his biggest champion, as she was for all of her kids at Charlotte Harbor. No matter how busy she was, she would always find the time to help us in her compassionbate loving way. She has always been and will always be an angel to us. Claudia, our wonder woman at CHC will never be replaced and will never be forgotten. She was truly one of a kind. A very special gift from God that was given to all of us who knew her. She will be missed! I can't thank her family enough for sharing her with us.
