Constantino Vieitez, 83, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Complex Care Hospital at Ridgelake, Sarasota, Florida.
Constantino was born October 25, 1934 in Spain and moved to the United States in 1959. He lived in Fort Lee, New Jersey for many years and was a frame maker at Abe Munn Picture Frames for 42 years. He moved to Port Charlotte in 2001. Constantino had a vibrant personality. He loved creating imaginative solutions to solving problems. He also enjoyed gardening, soccer.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Julia Marmolejos Vieitez of Port Charlotte; a daughter, Maria Koretzky and her husband Peter of Oak Ridge, NJ; sons, Constantino Vieitez, Jr. and his wife Kelly, Joseph Vieitez and his wife Maria both of Fort Lee, NJ; and 4 grandchildren in New Jersey; a sister, Olga Vieitez of Brazil; 4 steps sons, Isidro Almanzar and Juan Valerio of Port Charlotte, Francisco Almanzar of Tampa, FL and Maximo Valerio of Bronx, NY. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Josephine Aros Vieitez.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday 11:00 AM, Dec. 1, 2017 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 1441 Spear Street, Port Charlotte, Florida 33948. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte, FL.
