Dear Ell, So sorry to learn about Connie. She was truly a sweetheart and we loved and enjoyed being around her. She was a bundle of fun with not an ounce of pretense. What a doll of a person in every way. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We hope you will find some comfort in the fact that we and so many others cared so much for her and you. Fondly,Don &sue

I was so sorry to read of Connie's death in today's Pantagraph. She was a great friend in the early years of Crestwicke Country Club. She was a good golfer and a wonderful cook as described in the newspaper. Ray and I had some good times with Connie and El. The boys were young and so nice looking. You left Bloomington in 2000 but I think of you often as a friend of mine purchased your rattan furniture and uses it in her four seasons room. Hoping El is in good health and gets to enjoy his son and grandchildren. Marty "Baxter" Walkington
