He was born September 18,1945 in Benton, Washington and moved to Florida in 1976 from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Dale was courier for various businesses in Charlotte County for many years and a U.S. Army veteran of the Viet Nam War. He was an avid sports fan, who loved baseball and the Atlanta Braves.
Survived by his loving family, sons, Dale E. Snyder, Jr. of Ringgold, GA and Thomas C. Snyder of Rossville GA; brothers, Albert of Decatur, TN, Gerry of Sweetwater, TN, George and Raymond both of Port Charlotte; 3 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen and a brother, Kenneth.
Visitation will be held Monday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Graveside services and interment with military honors by a U.S. Army Honor Guard will be held Tuesday 10:30 AM, July 1, 2014 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte.
