Daniel Alan Black, 34, of Port Charlotte, Florida died January 30, 2019 at home peacefully with his wife from a long battle of Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Daniel was born November 19, 1984 in Kailua, Hawaii and moved to Port Charlotte when he was 6 years old. He was the owner/ operator of Gulf Coast Tree Service and Landscaping of Florida LLC. Daniel was a beloved husband and family man, who always made the room light up whenever he entered. He is no longer suffering and is at peace with his family in heaven.
He is survived by his loving family, wife, Colleen T. Black of Port Charlotte; mother, Faith F. Benge, step father Roger Benge of Port Charlotte; father, Larry Black and step mother Maria Leticia Black of Marble Falls, TX; sister, Kirsten Black of Port Charlotte; brothers, Bronson Figueroa of Port Charlotte and Michael Black of Marble Falls TX. 4 nieces, Briana, Emily, Mariska, Kylah and 2 nephews, Carmelo, and John of Port Charlotte; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Private funeral services will be held in Port Charlotte.
