Daniel Christian, 54, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Monday, October 19, 2020 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Sarasota, Florida.
Daniel was born May 26, 1966 in Antigua to the late Phillip Christian and Fedora Willock.  He moved to Port Charlotte in 2002 from the Bronx, New York.  Daniel was of the Rastafarian Ethiopian Orthodox faith.
He is survived by his loving family, his empress of 26 years, Oweda Genus of Port  Charlotte;  three daughters, Danielle Christian, Jessica Christian, and Adwoa Christian all of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Island;  a step-daughter, Jillianne Genus of Port Charlotte and two sons, Lij Genus-Christian and Sethi Genus-Christian both of Port Charlotte; 20 siblings and 8 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Roberson Funeral Home Chapel, 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, Florida 33948 followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM.   Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte, FL.  In compliance with suggested guidelines to help prevent the further spread of Covid 19 and protect our most vulnerable and at-risk individuals, we ask anyone in attendance to please be respectful of others and observe social distancing and wear a personal protective mask.
