Danita was born to Senior and Alzie Lee on December 9, 1973 in Queens, New York. Danita was a beautiful woman who loved life to the fullest. She had a passion for arts and crafts and making candles. She loved looking at butterflies and listening to music. She was an assistant teacher for the Baker Center Head Start School in Punta Gorda for several years. She loved to dress up, get manicured and put on her perfumes so that she was ready to take on the world. She will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew her.
Survivors include her loving daughter, Amina Lee of Port Charlotte; her son, Shawn Haynesworth of Freeport, NY; her parents, Senior Lee and Alzie Lee both of Port Charlotte; her sisters, Vanessa Lee-James of Baldwin, NY and Denise Harvey of Port Charlotte; her brother, Conrad Lee of Baldwin, NY; several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles and her dog, Prinston.
A visitation will be held 5:00PM-7:00PM, Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM, Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at First Presbyterian Church Port Charlotte. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
