Darling was born November 20, 1917 in Mahaicony, Guyana, South America and moved to Port Charlotte in 1990 from Brooklyn, New York. She was a beautiful lady who would do anything for anyone at anytime. As the kind hearted woman that she was she will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Survivors include her loving daughter, Winifred Morrison of Port Charlotte, FL; her granddaughters Rhonda Springle and Norlene Chery, great grandchildren Sean, Steven, Michael, Tatiana and Sam and great-great grandchildren Brenna and Jules of North Port, FL; friend of Blossom Wedderburn of North Port, FL and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held 6:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, May 31, 2013 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel and 9:00AM-10:00AM, Saturday, June 1, 2013 at St. James Episcopal Church Port Charlotte, FL. Funeral Services will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, June 1, 2013 at St. James Episcopal Church Port Charlotte, FL. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
