Anyone who knew David and could choose one word to describe him,it most likely would be “caring”. I cannot imagine the frustration he went through not being able to help others. It was what made him David. When I moved here 15 years ago,he instantly made me feel part of the family. He ran me around in his van, helping me pick up the large items I needed at home that I couldn’t fit in my car.I knew he had a hundred other things to be doing,he’d say”I’m your favorite brother-in-law”and I’d say”you’re my only brother-in-law” and we’d laugh and laugh. This became a great joke between us,as I am sure so many others had their personal funnies with him.His sister Gail and her husband Donny, and his late mother,Marie included me in their family gatherings.I can only hope he knew how much that meant to me.My nephews David and Jamie grew up to be amazing young men of which he was so proud. My heart goes out to all of David’s family, the ones I know and the ones I have not had the privilege of meeting. And of course, to Annie,I am so sorry for your huge loss.Maybe I will meet you some day.I pray for strength to carry you all through. With heartfelt sympathy,Ann Woldrich

Dave was with me when I had my first car accident, it was a rollover, my best friend Kathy and another friend Mike was in the car, we all walked out of it, but a a bit beaten up. Dave had his wits about him and took his shirt off his back and put it on Kathys face as she was bleeding and lead us to the nearest home down road, as for them to call the police and a towel for Kathy. The next day we returned the clean towel and with the grace of God everyone was okay, just bruised and cut a bit. Dave was cool and calm in the situation, he always tried to take care of his friends and family. He was a man that loved his family. I will miss you dearly Dave, hopefully you are playing ball and doing all the things you love. Love You. Your Sis Gail
