Deborah was born April 23, 1951 In Toledo, OH and moved to Port Charlotte from Ohio in 2004. She worked as a cashier at Home Depot in Port Charlotte. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Paul E. Luther of Port Charlotte; two daughters, Renee Schlegel of Delta, OH and Megan Harper of Napoleon, OH; son, Charles Wandtke, Jr. of Delta, OH; sister, Cindy Hartbarger of Whitehouse, OH; two brothers, Rory Hartbarger of Whitehouse, OH and Toby Hartbarger of Waterville, OH; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 992 Tamiami Trail, Unit C-2 Port Charlotte, FL 33953.
Friends may visit online at www.robersonfh.com to extend condolences to the family and sign the memory book. Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory Port Charlotte Chapel.

Debbie, to never be able to share our birthdays together is heartbreaking.
Debbie, I will never forget the first time I saw you in your red Mustang convertible. You had the top down and were sitting behind the wheel when I walked past your car. I first notice the car and said, "Wow! Nice car!" I then noticed you sitting there and said, "Gorgeous blonde behind the wheel---it figures!" It was days later that I discovered it was you and we had a good laugh about it. To me, you will always be that same gorgeous blonde.
You have been my friend, confidant, counselor, advisor, and strength. I know that you are in a much better place and finally out of pain, but I miss you so.
You loved your family so and I will miss hearing your stories about your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Debbie, I am a better person for having known you, but a very sad one to say good bye to you. I could never forget you and I will always love you.

Deb will be cherished by all who knew her. Deb took me under her shielding maternal wing eight years ago, and from then on she became an everlasting fixture in my life. A truly unforgettable woman and friend.
