Dennis McDonough
September 27, 1989 - January 11, 2011

Dennis was born September 27, 1989 in Fort Myers, Florida and lived in Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte all through his life. He graduated in 2008 from Charlotte High School and was pleased to have met great friends there. Dennis was a commercial fisherman doing what he loved to do. He was a good man who had enormous goals in his life and will be unquestionably missed by all who loved and knew him.

Survivors include his loving mother, Carole J. Ponx of Punta Gorda, FL and 2 brothers, Donald W. McDonough and Michael N. Ponx both of Punta Gorda, FL; his girlfriend, Ann Godwin and her children, Emily and Megan all of Punta Gorda, FL; his grandparents, Mac and Ann McDonough of Port Charlotte, FL; his aunts; Beverly (Scott) Lindgren of Fort Smith, AR, Pam (Dennis) Curtis of Port Charlotte, FL and several cousins.

I never met Dennis. I was a schoolmate of his grandfather, Mac McDonough.
