She was born November 11, 1949 in Aurora, Illinois and moved to Port Charlotte 2 ½ years ago from Pleasant View, Tennessee. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, always giving of herself, that those she met could see a little bit of the blessings of happiness she had been given.
She is survived by her loving family, husband, Herbert L. Berry of Port Charlotte; daughter, Milnita ” Millie” (husband – Bobby) Shelton of Ashland City, TN and son, Seth Berry of Port Charlotte; siblings, Joseph Bestler of Hampshire, IL, Bonnie Rott of Naperville, IL, John Bestler of Carol Stream, IL, Jerry Bestler of Mesa, AZ, and James Bestler of Wheaton, IL; Three grandsons, Drake Fields, Benjamin Shelton and Ethan Shelton; Many nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. A celebration of Diane’s Life will be held 10:00 AM Friday, May 23, 2014 at the funeral home. Pastor William K. Bales will officiate.
Friends may visit online at www.robersonfh.com to sign the memory book and extend condolences to the family. Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
