Diane L. Deutsch, 59, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at her home.
She was born on November 16, 1953 in Long Island, New York, the daughter of Morton and Emogene (Dailey) Deutsch. She graduated from East Northport’s John H. Glenn High School in 1971.
Ms. Deutsch lived in Roosevelt, Long Island, New York as a young child and moved to Huntington, New York in her teens, where she lived until 2012. She was active in her local church and loved to take care of her pet cats. She was a long time subscriber to the New York Times, which she read thoroughly every day and stayed on top of current events. She moved to Punta Gorda, Florida in April, 2012, where she often commented that she felt “happy and safe.” She was active in the Burnt Store Colony RO Association activities.
She is survived by many cousins. Her father Morton Deutsch, mother Emogene Dailey Deutsch and sister Laura Deutsch, preceded her in death.
