A lovely lady. Knew her through the Genealogy Society and her request that I pipe (bagpipes) for her husbands funeral.

I first met Diane as a result of writing a column about her husband's experience as a Seabee in WWII on Okinawa. We all became friends and I spent quite a few evenings with this wonderful couple. I admired her for her work in the community, her church, and her patriotism. We just reconnected as friends on FB, Now I'll have to wait, but I'm looking forward to seeing them both in sweet by and by. Condolences to the family and may sweet memories and God's blessings comfort you.

I liked Diane very much. We met each other through Laura and she always left an impression on me as a strong woman with a kind heart. I wish I could go to her memorial but I'm too ill to be there. I hope her and her hubby are dancing together now. I'm so sorry she is gone.
