Dolores B. Knapp, age 95, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away this past Saturday, March 17, 2018, at her Port Charlotte residence.
Dolores was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1922. She married, and while raising three children, moved from her native Illinois, to Florida, in 1973. Dolores lived for some years in Stewart and Okeechobee, Florida, before settling in Port Charlotte in 2002. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. We love you and you will be forever in our hearts.
Dolores is survived by her daughter, Gail Schoepke (Mark); five grandchildren, Debra McDonald, Sean McDonald, Ryan McDonald, Christopher Zeek, and Jeffrey Zeek; eight great grandchildren, and numerous extended family members. In addition to her parents Thomas and Grace, Dolores was preceded in death by a brother and sister, sons Leslie and Robert McDonald, and a granddaughter, Patricia McDonald.
Graveside services and committal to follow, will be held at Restlawn Memorial Gardens cemetery, beginning at 11 a.m. this Thursday, March 22, 2018.
