He was born October 19, 1918 in Canfield, Ohio. A graduate of Wooster College Class of 1941, he was a veteran of World War II and served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy in the South Pacific. He received his MBA from the Wharton School of the
University of Pennsylvania in 1946 and joined the Ohio Bell Telephone Co. in Cleveland,
where he served as an executive for more than thirty five years. Upon his retirement he moved to Charlotte County, Florida with his wife.
He is survived by his wife, Flora Sheldon Campbell of Port Charlotte; two sons,
Bruce A. Campbell of Port Charlotte and Glenn O’Brien of New York, NY; a brother,
James F. Campbell of Palos Verdes Estates, CA; and 2 grandchildren.
