He was born July 8, 1928 in Rochester, New York and moved to Port Charlotte
from New York in 1987. He was a retired accountant for Duryea Ford Corp. of Brockport, NY and a member of San Antonio Catholic Church of Port Charlotte. Member of the Charlotte Players, Charlotte Symphony, Charlotte Jazz Society, American Legion Post 110 of Port Charlotte and a volunteer for the Charlotte County Chapter of the American Red Cross. He was a veteran of World War II, U.S. Army.
He is survived by a loving son, Robert John Stuart of Port Charlotte; and many
friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Stuart who died in 2006.
