Mrs. Dorothea C. Phelps Williams, 92, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away Monday, December 28, 2009 in Port Charlotte.

Dorothea was born November 11, 1917 in Gagetown, Michigan to the late William and Gertrude (nee-Montreu) Giroux. A former resident of Royal Oak, Michigan, Dorothea, a loving sister, mother and great grandmother, moved to Port Charlotte from her native Michigan in 1994. She was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte, and the American Association of University Women.

She is survived by her beloved children, son Reginald Hanosh of West Bloomfield, MI, and daughters Carol Ann Fabrizio of Snohomish, WA and Judith D. Routhier of Port Charlotte, FL; three sisters, Eleanor Erickson of Sarasota, FL, Vernice Bailey of Punta Gorda, FL, and Fern LaMarr of Saint Clair Shores, MI; seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
