Dorothy Coley Dyke, 67, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 6, 2014.

She was born on March 27, 1947, to the late Garland L. and Anna F. (nee-Browning) Coley. Dorothy graduated from Forrest City High School in 1965. She lived most of her adult life in Naples, Florida, and had recently moved to Port Charlotte, Florida. She enjoyed cooking, reading, fishing, and gardening. She will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, O. Lewis Dyke; four children, Timothy T. (Mara) Moody, Garland F. (Mary) Moody, D. Aaron (Angela) Dyke, and Lehanne D. (Brian) Doyle; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters, Linda C. (Charles) Barg, and Belinda C. (Rex) Eley; a cousin, Donna Hawkins, lifelong friends Joan Marie and David Condon, and her beloved dog “Bella”.

A Celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at Roberson Funeral Homes Port Charlotte Chapel 11:00 A.M. today, Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Memorial donations in Dorothy’s memory are suggested to your local Humane Shelter or a charity of your choice.
