Dorothy was born to Walter and Gladys Plummer on December 14, 1922 in Jamaica, West Indies and moved to Port Charlotte in 1991 from Brooklyn, New York. Dorothy enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved shopping and traveling in cruises. She was a member of St. James Episcopal church and will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew her.
Survivors include her Son, Hopeton Walker of Port Charlotte; her daughter, Veronica Grand of Concord, NC; a sister, Carmen McCallum of England; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, January 8, 2016 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, January 9, 2016 at St. James Episcopal Church in Port Charlotte. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
Friends may visit at www.robersonfh.com to sign the memory book and extend condolences to the family. Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
