Dr. Manish Kapadia, 51, of North Port, Florida, unexpectedly passed away March 11th, 2023, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Jetpur, India. He was the son of Prabhaben and Kanjibhai Kapadia. He had two brothers and one sister. In 1995, he completed his medical school in India and married his beloved wife, Sonal Kapadia. He completed his fellowship in Pulmonology and Critical Care in Albany, New York. He moved to Florida and opened his own practice in 2005. He was a kind and compassionate healer, who served as the former chief of staff at Fawcett Memorial Hospital and was the chief of medicine for Bayfront Health.
He is survived by his parents and wife along with his son and daughter, Kevin and Kaysha Kapadia.
On Saturday, March 18th, from 9:30 to 11 AM, a service and viewing will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 211 W. Charlotte Avenue in Punta Gorda, Florida.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dr Kapatia was truley a kind man. When I lost my husband 3 years ago I had an appointment with the Dr. He saw that I was upset and wasn’t able to use my Cpap machine. He suggested that I meditate, take deep breaths and listen to calming music. It worked. He also took care of my mother in law, Theresa when she was in the hospital.
